At his prime, how powerful is he and what can he do?

I always thought he was a weak villain...enlighten me people.

Not exactly.. he [SPOILER - highlight to read]: broke the alignment of these 3 statues within the floating city (I forget the details)... but it caused a massive explosion which shattered the continents, rearranging the world..

Interesting enough, I was just listening to the kefka techno remix.
He's pretty powerfull, destroying whole villages almost instantly if he didn't fell that they worshipped him enough, of course, he'd do it anyway.
