 Miffed PSP downgrade from 3.6

Does anyone know of/have a crack for PSP firmware version 3.6? Because i want to homebew my psp but its a slim and the only other method i've found is the Pandora Battery method and that just seems questionable.
So if anyone knows of any recent cracks or hacks for it, that would be sweet.
