Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is an upcoming action role-playing game developed by Team Ninja and published by Square Enix. A spin-off of Square Enix's Final Fantasy series, the storyline follows a set of characters brought into a fantasy world to face the malevolent Chaos.
When I said I wanted to experience FF1 as an action-rpg, this is not what I meant.
I'm not sure why they felt the need to go all "dark fantasy" on us, not to mention the confusing name. This isn't a horrible idea and so far based on the demo it looks like it has potential, but I can't help but feel this is gonna be a stinker.
I'll probably still end up playing it, but what do ya'll think?
