Movie novellisations-alternate endings
Has anyone noticed that movie novellisations often have different endings to the actual films?
Blade:Trinity, Star Trek:Nemesis, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Men in Black 2, Freddy vs Jason etc
Why do you suppose this is?

I liked the Alternate ending to Freddy vs. Jason better.
You should read 'A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors' the book is 90% different from the actual movie, I'm guessing it was written from an early script.

That is interesting, thank you. I've never heard of a movie novelisation that differed that much from its source.
