its about this dude .... Richie Perry ... goes to Vietnam ( i cant remember why ) and befriends a bunch of soldiers ... then when they start going on patrols ( kill any enemy you see pretty much ) then all hell breaks loose .... people dying here and there ...... its a pretty good book ... not as violent as you think it would be ..
