I been putting this novel on hold for quite awhile (months) and finally decided to pick it up and start reading it. I admit the previous Dune novels have been a snooze for me. No offense to Brian..but he's just doesn't have the same "kick" as his father had. So anyone else reading it? Thinking of reading it?

I don't know. I read Dune a month ago and that was pretty nice, but I am not sure if I fancy to read more about it. It might just spoil the general image I got from the book. Of course I would start with Frank Herbert's stuff if I should choose to do so.

From what I heard this novel was based on the notes left by Herbert with instructions on how the plot should be. It defenetly is worth picking up if you're into the saga of Dune.
