Mars Statue

This looks like some Egyptian statue, its a picture from the NASA Mars Exploration Rover website.

Heres a zoomed in version of the pic, and Ill add a link to the original site. Don´t want to be accused of Photoshoping now do I.

It does look vaguely like an Egyptian statue.

I suppose you could say its the active human mind seeing something what isn´t there, as is the case with most odd pictures, either that or a CGI accusation.

i think it's more a matter of perspective than anything else....in other words if it's viewed from a different place it wouldn't look anything like a statue

Wow that statue looks like the Little Mermaid in Copenhagen Denmark which had its head stolen.

Its quite obvious though that its an optical illusion. The Egyptian statue seems more possible though imo.

Now if someone discovered The Little Mermaid on mars...then I'd be intrigued.

I think a lot of people would ,especially the Danes, would probably claim the Vikings were there first , like America.🙂

I was more impressed with this:

sure....probably just rock/shadow....but that rock/shadow does resemble a half buried figure with a human skull wearing some sort of headdress.

zoom in on actual pic linked to in the first post for much higher quality.

Wow someone made a sculpture of the hulk in the cliff, cool.

Oh come off it, nothing special? whats the chances of the Hulk being carved out of a mountian by accident. It can only have been done by intelligent beings 🙂

yeah, pretty much. It's all light/shadow. It really is just like looking at clouds. Our brains try to make a familiar pattern out of any image we see.

And thats the reason why we actually see things, when were born we can´t make out what we are seeing our brain has to learn to put the bits into place.

So don´t blame the brain for seeing things, thats its job.
