i got my money on USC this year, undefeated and play Texas in the national championship. Our first half was a little shaky, but thats how it was all year last season so i wasnt worried, Pete Carrol must be the best half time motivator in any sports, because USC really put the hurtin on them in the second half.
They were playing Arkansas not a real team, so putting a hurting on them isnt a big deal.
Louisville took a huge blow tonight. Mike Bush who is an absolute beast broke his leg and is done for a year. A big time dissapointment especially after losing Brohm to injury last year.

looks to me like the USC defense is back to their old selves. if they have any kind of significant offensive drop then thell need it back to there 04-05 selves.
USC - Will not be as good with loss of bush and leinart
Texas - will be little of the same with three pretty good running backs, and a good front four d-line but, they will need help in the loss of vince young and matt hoffman (I think)
ND - questionable after almost losing to GT but possible National champs
Clemson - great O-line all 4 returning starters, 3 good runningbacks, a great wide receiver, and the nation's best RE. they will start and finish ranked this season (I'm a Tiger fan ^^)
Oklahoma - will depend heavily on Adrian Peterson. AD All Day. I say he will win heisman if not Notre Dame's QB.
I will come up with more predictions if asked or after seeing a little more from the teams current and past strengths and weaknesses
I searched and searched and could not find a college football thread...but if I missed it, I apologize.
Wow, I think I watched about 5 games this weekend. Mich/Vandy, Hampton/Grambling (the end at least), Tenn/Cal, ND/GT, and FSU/Miami. Out of all those, I thought if you reversed those games, you'd get most exciting game to least - in that order.
Tennesse looks like they're back. Even witih Ainge they looked strong, and Cal looks like they need some tackling lessons.
I knew Georgia Tech wouldn't lie down. Chan Gailey is good at game-planning for the first opponent of the season (just look at what they did to Auburn the last 2 seasons). It's just the rest of the season that sucks for them.
FSU and Miami Defenses. Wow. 3 freakin' rushing yards combined for both offenses, with Miami winning that stat war by a margin of 2 to 1 yard.
texas moved up to #2 in the ap poll. i think they just tryin to hype up the Texas vs OSU game on Saturday...1 vs 2. *has nightmares about the last 1 vs 2 College football game*
