Cricket World Cup

Ahhh, its here, the 9th ICC cricket world cup.

16 teams are HERE , in the West Indies for the tournament, which was officially opened today.

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see our boys win, but looking at their absolutely SAD state of affairs, I have doubts.

I think its a toss between the Aussies and South Africa, but then again this is the world cup and strange things do happen.

Whoever wins, all fine and well, but I'll be wearing my Maroon shirts and singing at the top of my lungs when its being played........................

I am a Pakistani supporter and got really bummed out when they lost that easily to the windies. I think that this is gonna be a terrific world cup, I hate the format though, 16 teams its really gay half the teams dont know how to play. Australia isn't so strong this time around so who knows what might happen.

Yeah they were pretty disappointing this whole tournament, especially Chris Gayle, he was just getting going against South Africa before running himself out.

This has been a totally messed up WC, I lost interest in it very early on.

I find it amazing that not only is cricket totally boring, but the players when interviewed seem to have taken a few boring pills as well.

Im glad I live abroad and have no coverage of this whatsoever on TV
