I actually like Nash's goal better.
Ovechkin's is amazing but I think Nash's goal is better because it was a skill and not luck.
Ovechkin was skill but I'm pretty sure the shot wasnt suppose to go in and I'm pretty sure he was surprised it did go in.
Nash's just undressed two guys and was all skill. In my mind, a lucky goal does not beat a goal that was all skill.
(this doesnt mean that I dont think Ovechkin is less skilled than Nash or that the goal didnt take any skill)
i dont think Ovechkin's goal was luck.
there are too many classics goal to be honest.
Maliks' shootout goal on Caps comes to mind.
Denis Savard against the Oilers back in the 80's. i'l try to find a clip of that. Savard definitley had great puck control and was probably one of the best back then for doing that.
Al MacInnis when he made that goal from almost the center of the rink. Accuracy was ridiculous.
#13 from the Avalanche i remember. not sure if it was Tanguay. damn, but he had a sick goal too. spun around and shot the puck in. i'm forgetting names but remembering the numbers. can't watch hockey since the Kings managment sucks. so i'm kinda behind on my NHL.
#11 from Penguins. what was his name! this was a while back. forgot the players name. it's not Kovolev. dont remember, but the way he passed the players and scored made it look so easy.
anyway the list goes on.
i know you know alot about hockey, but just thought i'd refresh your memory. you can probably think of better ones. i'm not taking anything away from Nash cuz that was a sick goal and it adds to the list, but there are other greats out there. i think it's just a matter of preference.
