You thought wrong, only the Hosts don´t have to qualify, S. Africa in this case. Italy have to qualify as well as any other team.

The rules were changed for the 2006 world cup. Its only the country/s that host the tournament now that qualify automatically.

England are 3-0 up.....it looks like we've found a rising star in Walcott, and maybe Capello is a big game manager, this is his first real test as boss of England, and look at how it's turning out, magnificent, let's push on and get more goals, confidence boost for next month's qualifiers!!!

Lets just hope Capello takes notice and stops playing Beckham.

I´m happily surprised, not at Walcott he should have been playing for the 1st team for the past 2 years, his performances in the U21 were impressive.

A shame I can´watch the game, is England that good or is there a lot of luck in it.

I watched Finland V Germany 3:3 that was a very unusual game, Germanys defense was terrible.

Walcott has a hat trick.. its 4-1.

I am listening to it on the radio and from what I hear England are playing really well.

wow, didn´t expect that away in Croatia. well impressed, better see the highlights sometime.

I love Walcott. He supports LFC too. 😄
