Cosplay for my Middle school's huge Anime Club?

My school has a huge Anime Club, people from my Middle School, and people from the HIgh School. I really want to ask Mrs. Tryggestad if we could have a cosplay thingy on June 9th, since that is the day before the last day of school. Do you think she would let us do a cosplay thing?
