The Official Battle Royale Thread

Ok, I didn't see any threads for this so I made one. This is an incredible, suspenseful manga that foloows a class of high scholl kids put on a reality show, where they have to be the last one standing. THIS IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. IT IS VERY GRAPHIC, CONTAINS NUDITY AND EXTENSIVE GORE. Here is a review/summary of the plot:

There is also a japanese movie, but I have yet to watch it, I want to finish the series.

In case you didn't know they're making an american version of the movie.

Well, I'll have to check it out, but IT has a high chance of sucking, just like all other american remakes of japanese movies..

You said it...........If you've seen the original movie, you will either laugh your ass off or you will probably try sum of the stuff they do...........Funniest bit is when they get one item each to use as a weapon, Some get the stupidest items.

Kool.................I'll make sure I read it............But it looks like the movie follows the manga down to a "T".......

If any of the bookstores around me actually had the first ones, I'd have read it...but I can't stand starting a manga from anywhere other than the beginning and don't want to see the movie until I've at least started the manga.
