The official Greatest Anime/Manga Hero Thread

It's simple, just list your favorite Anime or Manga hero ever. It can be anyone or anything you want. You can only pick one and you have to at the very least list why.

I'll start off:

Son Goku

Why: I've been off and on Dragon Ball to be honest. But, to be honest I've come to realize [when I've comeback to Dragon Ball] that he's pretty much the greatest hero in Anime/Mangadom. He may not be strongest [please let's not debate this] or the most charmistic or the most strategic. But, that's what I like, he's straight forward and never gives up. This may sound cheesy and there are alot of heroes that are much more well developed than Son Goku. But, he's still iconic and is pretty much the Superman of Anime/Mangadom. Except he has the right positioning of power E.G. Capable of defeating high meta's, but not cosmic's.

It's for the sake of plot. Yusuke is pretty cool, he's one of the classic shonen heroes. What or who is your favorite hero?

SON GOKU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hes practically the japanese Superman, hes saved his unvierse countless times, and as far as i kow hes the strongest Anime/Magna fighter there is ( Im not debating it, in my eyes Goku is the strongest)

Plus hes character was the inspiration for such gereat characrs as

Uzumaki Naruo
And ..
Moneky Luffy

They where both inspired by the great Goku 🙂

That is true, Luffy and Naruto WERE inspired partly by Goku.

Goku is the greatest IMO, he never gives up, is wholely good-hearted, shows mercy to the evilest of villains, and is solely dedicated to protecting what he loves.

Yusuke is another good choice.

1. goku-dragonball/z/gt

2. yusuke-yu yu hakusho

3 ichigo-from bleach

4 kenshin-himura rurouni kenshin

5 kira yamato-gundam seed destiny

I was gonna say Goku but cuz er body else is sayin Goku, I'm gonna go wit Vash The Stampede. He takes heroics to the xtreme he's willin to do er thing Goku would do but he chooses not to kill no matter what.

Goku is my favorite, but there are others that deserve honorable mention.

Inuyasha

No-one else comes to mind after mentioning those four.
