if kimmimaro knows about the hearts he could take it, but with extreme difficulty. kimmimaro doesn't have explosive type attacks, only direct taijutsu moves that have to land to do damage. all out thread mode kaz will be a problem since he can not only fire big blasts but also impale/wrap his opponents for a win.
kazuzu has only one weakness: his 5 hearts.
he can lose a body part and just sew himself back together.
plus he has iron skin jutsu.
without that knowledge, he might get killed if he drops his guard under the impression he successfully killed kazuzu, kimmimaro is quick for the kill and all but he has honor. kazuzu is very cunning, he also keeps quiet and strikes for the kill, not a guy to drop your guard against.
also, kimmimaro has to contend with his disease, seemingly the more he exerts himself, the more it hampers him.
kazuzu 75% chance of victory in my opinion.

kakausu cant do much against that boen shield. kimimaruo can do a lot against his heart by somply covering the battle field with his bone spikes.
and the move might not even kill all the hearts, and that's even if it lands. he still has iron skin and/or the agility necessary to avoid most of it.
kakuzu's wide nature manipulation blast's will be major problems for kimmimaro since he is alone and he doesn't have any knowledge of kakuzu's abilities (being that he is a oro subordinate)
kakuzu's mask blast's were quite the surprise for the ninja that faced him and it was due to their sheer numbers that they too some of them out.

Good point, but remember about Brakken Dance. I don't think he could block that, even with iron skin, but Kakuzu still wins.
even kimimaru;s basic bone knife/sword is stronger than forged steel{he says so} . his iron skin isnt going to be a problem, seeing that even gara's absolute defence was breaking. and remember, kimimaru was DYING then. he was said to be the only one strong enough to stop the cursed seal guy's rage without getting hurt.

no, CONTROL him, like sasuke CONTROLLED him. fire blast? i dont think so, they both just rushed out of the cavern before i collapsed, and we dont know if its an active offensive like a jutsu or just some passive shield type thing. reguardless, i give it to kimimaru. ALWAYS thought hed have made an awesome akatsuki if given the chance and without his sickness.
