Yami Marik - Best Yu-Gi-Oh Villain

((This is just in regards to Yu-Gi-Oh!/Duel Monsters. I haven't watched enough of GX or 5Ds to judge)

So I made this thread for two reasons.
1. To post these two stupid badly edited videos I just made for Yami Marik.
A little joke on how people call him Super Saiyan Marik

And my favorite quotes b him

2. I just finished rewatching Battle City and I did a total 180 as I originally totally hated Yami Marik. I loved real, sexy Marik and this imposter with unexplained wardrobe and muscle changes annoyed me. However after this second watch I loved his dark, twisted personality. He's even more perverse than Yami Bakura and I can understand every second of it. he was born out of an arcane and brutal tradition and so his existence, his cruel intentions for the world, ar eall pretty sensible to me. He's just..nuts because he was made to be that way.

Yami Bakura souded cool but I really don't like his fluffy hair look. Plus he hardly does anything for most of the series. LittleKuriboh isn't lying when he talks about how long it tkaes Bakura to be a a main character.

I guess you might have a point about Bakura.. but when going by all the villains (even the ones from filler sagas), Marik hardly compares to Dartz IMO. He's still cool though, so don't get me wrong, but my favorite quotes by him were not in your vid ironically.

Back when I used to watch the Yu-Gi-Oh series, it sure took a friggin long time for Marik to get beaten by Yugi when they finally dueled eachother. So many To Be Continues each Saturday morning...oh the humanity.

him summoning obelisk was so epic, all the fail he did got washed away.

plus the original series had a lot of fake ass shit going on, the way the ultimate dragon was defeated was pretty cockamamie.

battle city was written closer to the rules of the game, thus more epicness since it was legal.

I big to differ... The Orichalcos, combined with Dartz's deck would likely handle Yami-Bakura quite easily, and unlike being sent to the Shadow Realm (and later escaping) when he normally loses a duel, Bakura would instead have his soul used by Dartz to fuel the Great Leviathan. yes

I was talking about their pure villain-ness including their voices of which Yami Bakura's is the cooler

Also, if Yami Bakura loses, he'd most likely give up Bakura's soul instead, if he could.

Zorc owns the leviathan any day
