The bad thing would be if the Internet was controlled by one person or one people who wanted to make us believe what they wanted to swing in their favour.

I'd like to mention something. People always say you shouldn't believe everything on the internet because there's a lot of crap on it, when you reference one source. It's like saying you shouldn't eat mushrooms because a lot of them are poisonous.I highly doubt .gov websites would be bad when discussing government for example.

exept in one instance where perhaps, when the country goes to polls, the party in government decides to manipulate the website for its own political propaganda and leans the stats onto its favour.
