Do you think that all of our reality could just be a higher beings dream?
Or that our entire universe (similar to Men in Black) could be a small part of something biggers universe?

The Dream metaphor for 'God' is thousands of years old. Must current incarnation:
"Row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream..."
There is an idea - strange, haunting, evocative - one of the most exquisite conjectures in science or religion. It is entirely undemonstrated; it may never be proved. But it stirs the blood. There is, we are told, an infinite hierarchy of universes, so that an elementary particle, such as an electron, in our universe would, if penetrated, reveal itself to be an entire closed universe. Within it, organized into the local equivalent of galaxies and smaller structures, are an immense number of other, much tinier elementary particles, which are themselves universe at the next level, and so on forever - an infinite downward regression, universes within universes, endlessly. And upward as well. Our familiar universe of galaxies and stars, planets and people, would be a single elementary particle in the next universe up, the first step of another infinite regress.
-- Carl Sagan, "Cosmos"

Ever heard of the Unmoved Movers? God is quantum bacteria.
Or how about the theory that every bit of energy in the universe, all the matter and all the elementray particles that compose it, are themselves composed of one singular particle or quantum string that is everywhere at once.

Nah that's pretty much where this series has been going from the start.

You can't differ from the Bible one nuance, Bat Dude?
You haven't formed your own ideas about the world? They are exactly what's written by about forty contributors over the course of 1600 years who had no communication with one another???
But who's to say it wasn't "divine intervetion."

Philosophy = the rational investigation of the truths and principles of being, knowledge or conduct.
Being - Who we are and how we came to be
Knowledge - Understanding of the universe (and the things in it) and how they work
Conduct - How we are to act and behave
The Bible has all of that. So no, I don't believe that the Bible is disqualified from this discussion.
Why should I? The Bible's been right about everything so far.
That multiple writers over a long period of time with no communication with one another could write something that is so cohesive and historically accurate is a proof of its divine authenticity in itself. But you will probably just brush that off as "nonsense" and go back to whatever you were doing.
So I'll leave you now with that. Carry on with your discussion, gentlemen (and ladies).
So do you forgo clothes made of wool and linen mixed together? Or is that just a "metaphor"?

This is Philosophy, Not Religion... There is a reason there is a Philosophy Thread and a Religion Thread. If this was about 'What does the Bible say about..' then feel free to point us to the right passage.
This is outside the Idea of The Bible... The topic itself says nothing about the bible. The topic asks two questions which obviously divert from the 'Path' of the Bible.
Also on a personal note I find the bible itself hard to believe. Not the Religion, just the bible. Because it wasnt said that God himself took pen to paper and wrote this stuff down. Man got the word and wrote it himself. But man, however, is corrupt and had the power and oppritunity to change it however they wanted.
Also I find it humerous that many people in this religion say that Jesus was a White man with long brown hair. The man was a Middle Eastern Jew with brown skin and a turban. It is not a large leap to go from changing what he looks like to adhere to mans way of thinking, to changing some words in a book.
