Balance and the Systems in Nature

Systems in nature cannot survive without equilibrium, without stable homeostasis. Senescence, aging for the laymen, itself is the result of degradation of molecular integrity throughout mitosis, an imbalance of good DnA throughout any single organism's lifespan.

The universe itself is an imbalanced system, which is why it's increased in complexity, and why entropy is occurring and will result in a cold death.

Humanity is also an imbalanced system, if my postulation is correct that is not good.

Thoughts?

A supernova will destroy the planet, before that it faces the cosmic shooting gallery our galaxy will become when it collides with the andromeda galaxy, becoming an elliptical galaxy.

Even before that point an extinction level asteroid may come, a black hole may pass too close or the earth may be in range of the effects of a nearby gamma burst.

My main point is that all of the species of the earth form a natural equilibrium with their habitat, homeostasis, humanity does not - but society could be made to.

However, we would have had to of initiated the process of creating an abundant and environmentally stabilized, eco-friendly, science-driven technological society at the dawn of the industrial revolution but we instead essentially pushed off with the scarcity producing, resource wasting society we have today, and it's been gaining momentum ever since.

At this point it will be far more difficult to change without tearing down the modern world.
