Superman vs. Mighty Mouse
(Mighty Mouse can be placed in the comics category because Marvel published a short series about him in 1990)
The scene: Metropolis; Superman is aiding an elderly lady who is having mice problems by placing cats in her apartment. (pretty cheesy eh?) Mighty Mouse is alerted by the neighboring mice and flies off to the apartment, "Here I come to save the day!!!!" Their eyes lock... Mighty Mouse calmly tells Superman to remove the felines immediately. Superman crosses his arms and bluntly refuses. Mighty Mouse then orders that Superman remove the cats or else he'll have to resort to sheer force. Superman responds, "Bring it!" They hurl towards each other.........
What will happen?
---if you are not familiar with Might Mouse here's some info.---
Origin of Might Mouse:
The rodent inhabitants of the city are terrorized by the cats. The cats have set numerous traps to capture the mice and it is impossible for the mice to live in peace. One mouse, having escaped from a hungry cat, finds refuge in a large supermarket. Having surveyed the contents of the store shelves, he sets out to transform himself. He takes a bath in Super Soap, eats Super Soup, chews on Super Celery and dives head first into a chunk of Super Cheese. He emerges from the chunk of cheese as Mighty Mouse. The transformation has changed him from a tiny four-legged rodent, scurrying about, into a human-like mouse, standing upright on two feet, with super powers, a massive physique, and a cape and costume similar to that of Superman's. Using his new-found powers, he sets out to rescue his fellow mice from the scourge of the cats, and sends all the cats to the moon. He returns to the Earth a hero, with the mice hoisting him high in the air.
Powers/Abilities:
Mighty Mouse can fly, and is super strong and invulnerable. He has X-ray vision (can also see things on earth from the moon, episode "Mighty Mouse and the Wolf"), and has demonstrated a form of super-hypnosis which allows him to control inanimate objects and even turn back time. Bullets have been seen to bounce off his chest, can survive the vacuum of space as he has been seen flying to the moon. Mighty Mouse has also stopped a locomotive with his hands (episode "The Silver Streak"). In the episode "Mighty Mouse & the Pirates" a ship full of cats holing mousette captive. A then furious Mighty Mouse comes flying towards the ship. The cats fire cannons at him but to no avail, MM dodges them, takes some hits, knocks them back, stuff like that. He then saves mousette and sinks the ship by throwing the anchor through the hull. In the episode "Mighty Mouse meets Jekyll and Hyde Cat" at the very end the cat pours some type of chemical all over Mighty Mouse then catches fire which blows up the house but MM is left without a scratch. In a 1944 episode he lifted a scooner out of the storm waters of a hurricane. In the episode "The Green Line" Mighty Mouse defeats Satan-cat with ease.
One of his greatest demonstrations of invulnerability is in the episode called "The Electronic Mouse Trap" (1946) the cats fire an atomic bomb at a shack full of mice when, out of nowhere, Mighty Mouse jumps in flies in front of hit. The A-bomb explodes on Mighty Mouse, after the smoke cleared, MM just wiped the dust from his suit saying, "He, he." He then beats the crap out of the cats a saves the day!
