First event the battle of wits... they all sit down and take the extended version of the S.A.T. with super hard questions... catergories include math, potent potables, quantum physics, and alien languages.
Second Event the battle of strategy. The board game Monopoly... last one to go bankrupt wins.
Hand to hand combat... using nothing but what they have built into them.
who wins what events and who wins overall?

While agree that Data would win the first event...
Roboto was designed for games of strategy so he wins the second event... he also wins hand to hand combat, because unlike the other two characters he is armed with a variety of lasers and rocket launchers. Combine that with his fire arms and Data doesn't stand a chance... and he did the moon walk in one episode of the new cartoon... 2 out of 3 Roboto wins

Event 1- Data. He has the edge in terms of intelligence and data (hence his name).
Event 2- Probably Roboto. As Mightyrain points out, he was designed for strategic games.
Event 3- Data. I know Roboto has his built-in weapons, but Data's incredible reflexes would allow him to dodge everything. And when he got close enough, his strength would allow him to tear Robot apart.
here is were we differ. While Data's reflexes would allow him to dodge many attacks, he has been shot with phasers on many occassions. A phaser fires a single round at a time. Roboto is equiped with rapid firing gattlin style laser cannons and several other projectiles. I don't think he can dodge them all.

Bouncers escort C-3PO out of the competition then Luke Skywalker tries slipping the host which would probably be Regis Philman a twenty.
Regis: Sorry Luke, but we dont allow gay robots on the show.
Luke tries arguing and so him and Regis get into a fistfight...
Mightyrain: A good point. I'd still say Data could win under the right circumstances, but it would be far from easy. Data vs Roboto could go either way. As I say it depends on circumstances.
With Optimus:-
1- Optimus. He's thousands of years old, so he'd be an incredible storehouse of knowledge.
2- Tricky. Remember Prime is an excellant strategist and leader. I'd say he could beat Roboto in a strategic game, although it'd be difficult.
3- Prime. He's much stronger than the others, highly intelligent and tactically minded.
