The Heaven-Mystic fire of the sword can burn at degrees up to and including 3000 degrees Fahrenheit, which makes it capable of cutting through must man-made metals, including the high-grade steel used for air and space-craft. This fire can set most flammable objects on fire at contact, and would be able to melt through the surface of a glacier in the Arctic Circle after about ten seconds of contact. The blade is empowered to affect incorporeal beings, such as ghosts and malevolent spirits, as well as being able to cleave through mystical barriers and force-fields. Barriers made to resist the sword itself, such as what Dr. Fate or Merlin could create, would not be affected by the sword.
