Known superhuman powers: While the full extent of the Sentry's solar-based abilities is unknown, he has demonstrated super-strength, invulnerability, super-speed, the power of flight and the capacity to control light. The Sentry's abilities derive from an experimental serum that creates a phase-shift in his molecules, causing each atom to step an instant ahead of the current timeline. The serum induces a photosynthetic reaction, resulting in a hyperstate of consciousness. In effect, the Sentry's powers are limitless.
In other words his hyperstate of consciousness is his defense against Onslaught's psionic/mental attacks. Since Marvel brought him back, and is considered fairly new, the marvel writers have yet to state any weaknesses for Sentry if he even has any. He went toe to toe with Galactus and stalemated him, ripped Carnage's A$$ in half, and took the Hulk down, c'mon, even for rookie, that's freaking awesome. I have his five comics, all his one shots, and the New Avengers 1 thru 3 plus their Mcniven, Finch, Bendis Variants, so I'm really into Sentry.
