Scarlett Witch's power is used mainly defensivly. She hex's agianst things to keep her and her loved ones safe.
Dagger has a power that can't be tainted. She is the embodiment of an offensive strike.
I doubt Wanda's hex power would fail her in the environment, but Dagger would beat the Scarlett Witch where others have failed.
