Who prevails? Yes prep time but they dont know each other.

Galactus is more powerful than your average celestial. As shown in earth x when he took out a few of them on his own without much difficulty. Its only the most powerful of them such as Exitar who could more than likely take the big G down. The destroyer was created to protect the earth from the celestials third host when they came to judge earth. The destroyer at that time was fuelled by the essences of all of the asgardian pantheon and has arguably never been more powerful before or since. Each member of the celestial third host easily withstood the attacks of the destoyer and the other assembled gods from the worlds pantheons. Galactus would melt the destroyer.

I agree with GalacticStorm.

Prep time wouldn't matter much. Galactus is smart, but is
powerful enough not to need any, while Destroyer is, and
I may be wrong here, not really nitelligent or even fully
self-aware like other beings, so his prep time wouldn't help
him much.

Ofcourse, judging by the way Galactus has been portrayed
in the past two decades or so, Destroyer would probably
defeat him, until Reed Richards, or the Avengers, or even
Puck, come to save him (my sarcastis way of protesting the
way Galactus has been shown beaten down so often).
