Isn't Prime also made up of soem slimy material?

A few good punches by Thing would probably cause a mess.

They were good comics though.

The goo's usually pretty durable until he starts to tire. Normally, it can repair itself from just about any damage.

And have to disagree about the Prime comics being good. Terrible writing for the most part, and the designs... especially his second form... that one made my head hurt.

He also wasn't a skilled fighter, relying on brute force mostly, which is why Hardcase was able to school him. I think Thing has the skill and experience to outfight him, and either beat him straight up or keep the fight going until his outer shell tires.
