Thing can't touch IW and there is so many ways she can kill him.
First thing, and easiest, that comes to mind is one of her little suffocation bubbles.

It has been stated in comics that Invisible Woman is the most powerful of the Fantastic 4.

Only chance Thing has, is if he knocks Sue out unprepared. I mean if she doesn't expect a fight, she doesn't have shields up. However if she knows about the fight, then poor Thing should just hide away somewhere, rather than face miss ForceField.

Her forcefields have resisted much more than the physical force of the thing.Only explanation is that she couldnt concentrate well because she was mind-controlled.When she was possessed by her evil Malice persona, she hammered both Ben and She-hulk with her forcefields and left them unconscious. She could have killed both easily.

Sue has knocked out a mind controlled She-Hulk and Thing with Titania and Absorbingman all at once. Her problem with fighting the Thing is that he knows how her strategies and how her fields work. On another occasion when he was under a kind of chemical mind control he almost took her down. But written by Claremont, who portrayed the FF at their strongest so far, IW would certainly win.
