In a chess match!
Papa Smurf plays white, offensive advantage
Reed plays black, needs to turn defensive moves into offense.
Sorry guys, I just had to throw in an IQ match. Everything else has been: 60% brawns, 20% brains, 15% cosmic, 5% settings.

great question,....really close, but the real question is: Is Papa Smurf allowed to consult with Gargamel? That could tip the scales dramatically.

haha ... Gargamel is a fool! Show me a time when his spell turn out the way he planned them!

-Papa Smurf
-Reed Richards
-Bruce Wayne
-Prof X
No one else really comes to mind. Sure P.Parker is smart, but I just can't picture him being a chessmaster. Heck, Kingpin would probably beat him at chess.
Actually when it comes to chess, might as well throw in Alfred Pennyworth, he's brit after all!
What about this Mignighter guy? Never heard of him, but since he can play out 100 of moves ahead, can he be a threat at chess?
