Hard to say...there have been at least three Zods, and not all of them are kryptonian. The Zod from OWAW wasn't Kryptonian at all, and thus wasn't affected by Kryptonite. He was NEGATIVELY affected by yellow sun energy and POSITIVELY affected by red sun energy, which, of course, is very unkryptonian.
