KMC Forums - The Punisher with one-sided prep and Reed tech vs. Doom in Latveria

Okay, here's the scenario:

Reed Richards is finally well and truly sick of Dr. Doom and wants him gone forever. However, that kind of work really isn't his thing or his family's -- what he needs is a person who's truly a merciless killer at heart.

Meanwhile, for whatever reason, Doom has made some serious trouble in New York City. This is important because it gives the Punisher a reason to be ticked off at him.

So Reed approaches Frank with an offer: free access to all of his available technology, as well as a further offer to put together anything extra Frank thinks he could use. He also gives Frank a detailed briefing, giving him all of the most up-to-date information on Doom and Latveria that he has available to him. In exchange, Frank is to then use this technology and information to invade Latveria and kill Dr. Doom.

Again, this is ONE-SIDED prep-time. Doom is NOT aware in advance and cannot become aware at least until after Frank enters Latveria. However, since he DOES have to enter Latveria, Doom gets home-court advantage and access to everything he normally has there, including of course his Doombots.

Can the Punisher -- with one-sided prep and Reed's technological support -- successfully take down Dr. Doom in his own house?

(Note: Except where they deviate in the above scenario, all characters are otherwise assumed to be fully in-character at all times. Therefore, in the event of a showdown, Doom with his massive ego will have to gloat at least a little, while Frank will say very little -- if anything -- and cheat as much as possible from the very beginning. The Punisher is allowed to use the element of surprise to attempt to effect a kill without ever letting Doom become aware of him in advance ... IF he can successfully get to Doom without being detected by him.)
