Mimic vs. Iron Man
Iron Man is capable of great strenght and speed with his armor, furthermore he has awesome offensive and defensive capabilities.
Mimic--Exiles version--(Cyclops, Beast, Colossus, Wolverine, Northstar powers at 50%). That gives Mimic speed, strength, durability and offensive blasts.
When the smoke clears, who's left standing?

Mimic. When the Exiles were fighting Hyperion he said that Mimic was actually almost a challenge while the Avengers, which included Iron Man and other powerful guys like Thor and Hercules, he said was easily taken care of.

Winnick really downplayed Mimic, whereas Bedard has gone through phases of making him badassly powerful, and just mid range powerful.
I think his most recent line up of abilities, before he mimicked Deadpool and got all messed up, complimented each other nicely, and set him around or near the same level of Iron Man, a competent and well written Iron Man using full continuity, that is.
