Superman would win, faster, stronger, generally better in every way.
You wouldn't see Superman get cut by a regular ass sword like Neo did. Neo goes down.
I understand that supes is better then neo , but within the matrix Neo is a god , he can simply rearrange Superman's code to make him powerless and then beat the living shit out of him .
Outside of the matrix though neo get's snapped like a twig....
Yeah... because you saw him re-writing the code of the entire Matrix in the movies, he's a victim of 'destiny' not a God of the Matrix. HE GOT CUT BY A DUDE WITH A SWORD. Who is not NEAR as fast or strong as Superman. Neo isn't even fast enough to see Superman, much less fight him.
No , you misunderstand...or to be more exact i didn't explain it well enough. He can rewrite the code , but doesn't. It's much like the Star Wars comics and film's .

Ok, now that I've vented, Neo is not a "God" in the matrix. In the Matrix, Neo moves as fast as Supes, can fly, has displayed TK abilities, and has Batman's level of fighting skill. His strength and durability are superhuman, but no where near Supes. Neo almost died taking Smith's punches. Imagine him taking punches from Supes...

Neo got cut by a sword in the movie superman is stronger and faster. Neo caught trinity after being shot but superman would have stopped her from being shot. Neos punches wont even hurt superman. Supes would simply use his heat vision to melt neo fights over
