Okay, which one has the better strategic mind to take this?

I thinkbatman would win this. Although slade is a lot smarter, Bruce has had a lot more exposure to chess and it's tactics (see hush). I highly doubt slade spent much time playing chess when he was a kid. So Slade would have to derive all his strategies on the go while bruce is already familiar with many of them.
