Xavier has no means of beating him. Hulk couldn't do too much...however..
Magneto obviously has an upper hand when he can alter metal, Iron Man has so many projectile types of weapons that he probably has something that can knock Braniac down, Reed's pretty much Marvel's Batman when it comes to prep, Doom is like Luthor, and then you have the combined technology of Thanos and Apocalypse?

Magneto has more impressive intellectual feats than Hank Pym, IMO. In fact, he has more impressive intellectual feats than everyone on this list except Doom, Reed, and Thanos. Iron Man has slightly more impressive tech feats, but Magneto more than makes up for this with FAR more impressive bio-engineering feats.
really? the only thing that comes off the top of my head is his inventing cerebro, and even then he had help from Xavier, who IMO is just as smart if not smarter than eric. xavier is better at speeches as well................not that it means he is more intelligent but it is a useful trait....................

Magneto intelligence feats:
Created Alpha the Ultimate Mutant - capable of easily defeating the Defenders (and Magneto, lol)
Created the mutates - an entire race of people who live on the Savage Land
Created Asteroid M and kept it cloaked from the entire planet (including Reed and Doom) - as impressive a technology feat as anything Iron Man has done
Created Nanny/Orphanmaker - AI robots as sophisicated as Vision
Created that robot thing that debated the UN in the beginning of the Magneto War
Created devices that interact with his powers in such a way to allow him to reverse the magneto poles.
Re-created his own inhibitor fields within a second, to the exact detail
And that's just genius within the scientific fields. He's shown extreme saavy in politics, business, military strategy, etc.
I'm just a Marvel dude but who says Xavier can't do anything? He could take down DC psychics as well as Marvel... his psychic powers are basically unlimited, he could kill people with a thought.
