Agreed !!!!!!! I just spent the last of my Christmas money on Morisson stuff, i got a few JLA trades and volume 1 of the Seven soldiers (which i havn't read yet, so don't spoil). I've just read the WW 3 JLA arc, which features the Spectre at the beginning. Its evrything that Our World at War wasn't. Its almost humerous compare Morisson's JLA to Bendis's Current Avengers team. I can understand why you are worried about the New guy taking over. IMO bring back the crazy Jock !!!!!!!!!!!
I wouldn't say that. The Authority is just another way to look at superheroics. Stuff like The Filth talks about dumping grounds for dead bodies, pornography, and giant germs.

more accurately, he's a chaote -- he's into chaos magic. and yes, i'm dead serious -- chaos magic.
but he IS very very good though sometimes i think he writes without considering the possible ramifications of some of the things he is writing. but damn his run on jla was AWESOME. everything the jla and superheroes in general should be imho.
oh, and yeah, if they found a way to chase off asmodel and meggaddon, they'd drive g away as well.

I've been reading his first JLA arc, against the White Martians. Its not quite as good as Waids 'terror incogneto' buts still excellent stuff !!!!!
I do find it very funny that people compare a team that can't even take down Kang, against a team that beats badguys who where planning to take on God/end the universe !
This is how JLA should be written, bring back the Crazy jock !!!!!
