Well Quicksilver is still slower than Northstar and Aurora, Ms.Marvel(Current) won't make much of a difference same with Hulk. X-Man(shaman nate) and Dr.Strange would be HUGE problem, does he get prep?
Majority get sucked into the Void and by doing their minds are stolen. Still no Windshear, Talisman, Earthmover, Pathway or Feedback? Anyways have to think about who wins, since right now to tired to think. I'm thinking Adam's team wins, but I will give my two cents later. Could go either or depending on the Void, Guardian E-M field, etc.
why can;t Alpha Flight have their strongest people? and who knows what Shaman can wipe out of his pouch in that time. I wonder if Shaman's "shush" time freeze would work as well.
In an interview found in Marvel Age #2 [May, 1983], this is what John Byrne said about Shaman: "If you want to sum it up . . . he's Doctor Strange--but he does it with potions and herbs and little dolls and stuff, instead of just doing it with the power of his mind, the way Strange does. This possibly gives Shaman a slight advantage, I don't know. If he had the tools at hand, he can make just about anything. I don't know if Strange has that kind of power over the physical world."
I have a theory. I have come to believe that just about the only team in the Marvel Universe that could challenge Alpha Flight is ....

Just look at Alpha Flights roster for a second:
*the bastard love child of Iron Man and Magneto - Guardian
*A "Dr. Strange" level magician - Shaman
*A Hulk level brawler who is not only a scientific genius but can also become an ancient god - Sasquatch
*A thermal heat manipulator who can tap into the nearly unlimited amount of heat in the earth - Vindicator
*two super-speedsters one of which can manipulate kinetic energy to the point of making anything she touches rip itself apart - Aurora and Northstar
*A shape-shifting demigod - Snowbird
*A armored mutant who can manipulate metal, plastic, and glass into anything he wishes - Madison Jeffries
*a respectable force field generator - Radius
*indestructible midget - Puck
*guy with super-powered horse - Major Mapleleaf
*mini-wolverine - Wildchild
What other team in Marvel carries around this much firepower? With such an incredible variety of powers from energy manipulation to magic few beings could challenge them and any that could would just get removed from the battle field. With any prep time they are almost unbeatable.

Snowbird can turn into Tanaraq and even Wendigo...badass
Radius can even put forcefields around people and suck the oxygen out killing them.

Good post Kahn, it's funny because 7-8 months ago I thought Wolverine could take Alpha Flight and then I finally picked up the series. Hell Alpha Flight also has Purple Girl [Purple Man's daughter], Witchfire [Belasco's daughter], Saint Elmo [Northern lights god], Sunfire [Vol.2 temporally] etc.
EDIT: Whoops forgot all about Marrina, the girl who single handly took on the entire Avengers team which included Thor and Photon In base-form they stated she is even faster than Namor underwater
Not in her baseform, she matched him with everything except for strength. Then she blinded him and The Master knocked out Puck, Marrina and Namor each with one hit.

Wow. Lets slow down here. Why is everyone buying into this Alpha Flight hype? They would be lucky to beat Dr. Strange this team would freaking kill them.
They stated Shaman is near or at Dr.Strange's level and Talisman who wasn't on the list is at or above Dr.Strange.
Shaman has an unlimted supply of things from his pouch he can build, and with prep could suck everyone into the Void. I havn't stated who wins yet, but I still think Adam's team unless Shaman does the banishment or pulls something BIG out of his pouch.

Black Adams Team beats Alpha Flight.....................what good is a shush when X-man can do the same thing with a thought and not using any words? Etc Etc
1.5 hours of prep the BA team there isn't anything AF can throw at them that DAMN over half the Marvel Illumintai cannot overcome.
I really do respect alpha flight, and mungi you have done the most incredible job and raising awareness on how great a team they are but come on! Black adams team would tear through them.
Oh yeah forgot to mention, any hype they do have is true. I have not stated powers they didn't have. Everything I have said about them is true, they are indeed very strong.
