Thanos vs Titannus

Thanos is contemplating his next conquest, and is unaware that Titannus has been observing him for the past few days... Titannus makes his presence known to the titan, and challeges him to a battle, the deal is if he can defeat Thanos, he will become his new Master... can Titannus tame the Mad Titan?

This is not a deathmatch, this is a match to decide who can KO the other first.

Ok then I'll start I think Thanos will take it to this guy, it will be a good fight, but just because he threw Hulk around does not prove that he could do the same to Thanos, Thanos has a huge arsenal of powers. I say that the Titan will overcome him even though he will be a little banged up.

Yes, i believe so. One-sided too.

Doesn't matter that much since his observations will just prove futile considering Thanos is such a lazy bum when not on a massive wide plan or venturing to slaughter someone.

If it comes to physical battel, he would have a chance considering he floored hulk with just three strikes. But i doubt it if even there he could have a majority against a guy who was taking out drax and hulk along with various others just physically.

no, it wasn't during the saga. Him being turned to stone by warlock was a plot device of insane magnitude. It was his first death and pre-death augmented levels. Basically he killed warlock and was whupping his friends till warlock's soul appear and turned him to stone immediately.

On the other hand, his stone matter manipulation feat was also from that era. He basically turned a skrull into stone by just a look.

Notice Thor, Thing, and Spider Man were trashed by Thanos. Titannus is pretty tough, but up against Thanos going all out, I don't think he has the stuff.
Mider I think you can read about that fight in one of the best graphic novels ever created called, The Death of Captain Marvell, I know the story is in other comics as well, but I can't remember off hand... Has anyone noticed, that when it comes to any cosmic despot type of story arcs worth reading, that Thanos is a part them? He just rules.
