Black Canary is currently trying to become the new Lady Shiva (and doing a good job at it too) so she'll give Matt a run for his money. However Matt is alot more agile and faster. Canary is arguably more skilled though.
SPITE THREAD! One yell from Canary and DD would be dead. BC 10/10...... oh never mind. You made it just a martial arts match up. In that case, it'd probably be even.

I do think DD could take her in strict hand to hand. He is faster, stronger, and a lot harder to hit. Since she is re-training herself to be like a new Lady Shiva I give her a lot of credit in future battles, but right now Matt still takes it hand to hand.
Unfortunately Canary wins at least 7/10 because Matt has the most acute hearing in the marvel universe and no healing ability to repair the damage. Only downside is that Canary really doesn't use the scream that much, but I say she'd have to against Matt because she's not going to be able to beat him physically.
just to add to Draco's comments if I read the last issue of BOP right after she deafted the Warlord's larmy she was given the title of shiva by the people but she rejected it because she does not want to be like shiva.

in hand to hand i give it to dd the guy is very skilled and he also has super human senses that would make him even better. but is canary used her screem it's all over.
