So let me get this straight. he can handle a nuclear explosion but he can't handle an exploding gas station?

He reaches SuperKryptoMan level one, and goes for the "omfg!! Speedblitz wieith planetbussing punches and leightsped tieumes a billii=on boomturbelistic powahhh!@!" and then sees the flame guy shoot a decent sized fireball at him.
He laughs, until he smells the thick, noxious gasoline fumes coming from behind him.
With a cringe and a memory recall of Doomsdays hot, muggy breath caressing the downy hair on the back of his neck, he feels the dread explosion of the Citgo.................
I know he can handle worse Darkseid's omega beams are an example (although it's kinda PIS)
