I think they could use their powers in such a way that they could perhaps strengthen/protect the Hulk to probably get a few blows on Galactus. Not sure if it would do anything though.

Like I said, I doubt it would do anything. I was just thinking of the MOST that they could do to him.
As far as fanboys, everyone is a fanboy of something. It becomes a problem when you shut down other peoples ideas because you think only your opinions count. Noticing that almost all forums call everyone fanboys now. I wonder how that originated.
actually i think the key is the thor, odin, loki part...
if loki could empower surfer... imagine what odin could do for hulk...
I think the fight would start with odin holding galactus off... as he's the most likely candidate on the big G's level... loki would probably do whatever he could to empower thor and hulk... Odin backs off... the big empowered strength guys attack Big G. All the while, Reed is getting onto the worldship... and using its weapons to drain galactus of his energy... like they did previously... As galactus would weaken from hunger... odin would seem much greater in power.. and capable of "killing" galactus... at least for the meantime.
odin is a powerhouse. no doubt about it...

I doubt Odin could actually hold off Galactus for even a second. If there is a comic where he does so id like to know.
What my take on this was for them to pull their power together to empower Hulk, along with Sue Richards power of that bubble she has enhanced to go around Hulk. Also, Hulk would be "worthy" of Mjolnir. I just saw a cover with him holding Mjolnir and Captain Americas shield if I am not mistaken. Forgot from where though, I think the new Onslaught mini?

Well I'm assuming its "regular shown" galactus... which is generally hungry galactus.. and not satisfied or full galactus...
that galactus was killed by the combined avengers ff4...
hungry galactus was also stated to me not much stronger then the silver surfer.

im not assuming prep. I'm assuming that half the team buys the other half time to do whatever they need to do.

they didn't. he was weak, and the combined teams held off galactus while some members snuck on his ship and used his own worldshiop to kill him off.

I'm not convinced that the OdinForce isn't powerful enough to knock Big G out, at least temporarily.
Everyone but Reed and Odin are nonfactors, but I think they might do it, even with no prep (in which case it's just Odin....unless he teleports them away to make use of some prep).
sorry, my mistake it wasn't just the ff4 and avengers. from wiki
killed after a battle against the united forces of the Silver Surfer, Avengers, Fantastic Four, Starjammers, the Shi'ar Empire and an armada of other united planets (including even a Kree starship) when his own Elemental Converter was turned against him. He died with an ominous warning that his death would allow a great evil to surface. After his death, Galactus' true form was revealed, that of a sentient star.

thanos knocked down a hungry galactus...
odin can take the hits of Thanos...
odin hurt thanos (less than galactus.. but still)
odin should at the very least be able to buy the remainder of the team time to think of something.
