Cyttorak versus Dr. Strange

seriously don't know much about Cyttorak, aside from the fact that he's a God of some flavour and has that annoying unstoppable ('cept when stopped) fellow for a follower/avatar/lackey/...

anyway, I'm sure the obvious answer would be "xxx blinks Strange out of existence before he even knows it" but, in order to give it something of a fight... I'm letting another God shield Dr. Strange from Cyttorak's view until Dr. Strange has prepared all his magics and is confident enough to face Cyttorak.

what happens next?

(no, Cyttorak cannot be turned into a chicken and sold into battery farm slavery!)

not true. all the prep in the world wont' help strange against the likes of Odin, DC zues, Galactus, Death, Mr. Mxy, Thanos, or any good prep master with contingency plans that can come off at the fly, like Thanos, or Nabu.

seriously though, doesn't his magic depend upon other Gods?
how's that work then?

I always figured magic was like a gift for paying homage to a God, which would basically cap your powers to the extent that the God gifted you and no more than what the God itself had.

He's beaten Death already . . .

Odin and DC Zeus maybe

Thanos is screwed, the others are basicly abstracts and his DC counter part.

Think about it if those are the guns you have to pull out to stop him he's ridiculously tough.

hmm, so Strange's spells would basically over power Cyttorak... thought maybe his Gods wouldn't grant such outrageous power to him sad

oh, hmm, does this mean that Dr. Strange could stop the Juggernaut??? big grin

He's not beating Dr. Fate/Phoenix Force/Galactus. He dies horribly against First Fallen. I will admit Bag of Tricks is a mage, but seriously
