Iron man vs The X-men

Extremis Iron man and his Argonauts vs the X-men
Ok so this is some info on the Argonaut armors i got from wikipedia:

quote:
Sometime after the Extremis transformation, during at attack by the new Super-Adaptoid, Tony Stark realized he could command several armors at once. Building on this, and realizing the world was becoming an increasingly dangerous place, he decided to construct a "team" of Iron Men - hyper-advanced drones that would be under his direct mental command, just as his own armored body. Unfortunately, the "Argonauts" were abused and destroyed before they ever could serve for good. They included:

-"Space Ghost"; space-flight capable, nearly-impossible to detect espionage model; possibly intended as a satellite-killer.

-"Submariner"; streamlined for great speed underwater; capable of using the ocean itself as a weapon, it apparently unleashed several tsunamis.

-"Adamantium Man"; equipped with practically indestructible "Stark-Chobham" armor.

-"Digger"; enormous droid, possibly over a hundred tons; equipped with (shielded) Antarctic Vibranium (which dissolves any metal) helmet dome and a specialized repulsor/unibeam system which allowed it to tunnel at incredible speed.

-"Hulkbuster"; also massive droid, ostensibly designed mainly for raw power and toughness, to take on the Hulk.

Tony's up against:

Jean Grey
Collosus
Beast
Wolverine
Gambit
Cyclops
Nightcrawler
Xavier
Iceman
Angel

Ok so who will win this sizzle?

Discus!!!

cool

jean grey, xavier and iceman would be the deciding factors of this fight atleast for me. Had you given the x-men only one of their two most powerfull telepaths i would say the match goes to iron man easily. Unless the cyclops we are talking about here has realized his true abilities, i doubt his optic blast is going to do much against starks amrours'. wolverines adamantium does nothing either. I dont think collosus could withstand the constant munitions onslaught from iron mans team for very long. So there go the brawlers, however, when fighting with jean or xavier their tactics are determined by jeans and xaviers actions

the x-men, especially these x-members gain strength by fighting together. As strategically oriented as tony stark is. I have to say the x-mens fighting experience as well as their tactics and telepaths easily recycle iron mans team. I think however, it also depends what suit stark himself is wearing.

Each x-mans strength is usually magnified when fighting with the right team members. They have a great knack for exploiting each others abilities.

I think Adamantium man and Hulk buster are enough to take care of the brawlers I agree that the telepaths wil be Tony's biggest problem doh.. with prep Tony wins 10/10... Without prep .. Team X 6/10

i can agree with that, still not sold on stark being able to stand up against the telepaths even with all the prep time in the world

I don't even think the psychics are necessary, but that's just me.

Iceman, Jean's telekinesis, Nightcrawler, and Cyclops would be a challenge right there. And then add Colossus for any of the suits that make it into his grasp.

If there's any prep then Tony could get these robots to work without any mental connection to him.

The X-Men would have a hell of a time trying to stop them all the old fashioned way.

IM Robots >>>>>> Sentinels

Colossus is probably going to have a major part to play in this battle, seeing as he's the "tank". I don't think Iron man could take on Jean Grey though, not on his best day with all the suits in the world.

Colossus would get owned by the Hulkbuster or the one with Antarctic vibranium.

Plus one of them has an adamantium outer layer.

In Uncanny x-men, the hulkbuster suits were easily torn apart by Juggernaut at a weakened state. Then later one, Juggernaut is seen struggling below Colossus level when benching. Obviously Colossus would be able to rip apart the Hulkbuster suits. If not, then Nightcrawler can work together with Gambit.

Simply bamf him to a suit, let him charge and then bamf away. If not, then Wolverine has a nice set of claws.

I am sorry but I don't agree with that scenario at all. I can't even see neither possible. NC or Logan. Like Tony doesn't have a gazillion info about Logan to know how to handle canuk boy

This isn't a "Hulkbuster suit" this is a custom made totally new and improved Hulkbuster armour that tore apart the Avengers (well .. the New Avengers anyway, but they did have She-Hulk, Ms Marvel and Iron Man)
