That's unfair SC,

that issue was not meant to deal completely with the revised Jaspers,

that was just to re-introduce him, that issue had more to focus on,

like the Chaos Wave.

Oh, it's the Captain Britain cheap shot, which Jaspers disappeared after that.

That's unfair SC,

that issue was not meant to deal completely with the revised Jaspers,

that was just to re-introduce him, that issue had more to focus on,

like the Chaos Wave.

I'm merely pointing out that we know absoluetly nothing of what this new Jaspers can do. How do we know that there isn't some massive battle of wills going on that will hold back almost all of his power?

Really if Jaspers had even his power or Fury's power that shot should never have happened or even phased him if it did.

Because we don't.

Jasper's did not hint to that being an issue, and the Official Bio mentions nothing of the sort.

Either the Chaos Wave or Jamie Braddock merged them.

it simply won't hurt him, cause he can just remake himself instantly.

Jaspers has some great feats his merged form doesn't it has only conjecture.

And yet this Jaspers merely went flying rather than coming back or taking revenge. I have no doubt that this new Jaspers will be immensely powerful I just see no evidence to support that yet.

it's the same Jaspers 616 merged with the Fury's powers.

they were re-introducing Jaspers,

the arc was not going to delve into a subplot including Jaspers, they had too much on their hands with Wanda and the Chaos Wave.

Still spectre how is about the same level as LT should be capable of bringing him down fairly easy.

Another thing is that I believe that Merlyn could have beaten him himself but choose not to intervene after all MJJ was no more then a piece on the board in his game of chess, which was nearly just a test for Roma. But again speculation.
