I do have the mini, but I don’t remember any mind control going on. As for Redstone he is designed to be his equal/enemy. As for the second part of your comment, I’m not sure what you mean with the way you phrased it. I would give the fight to Surfer mostly because of the established feats already but for someone to that the full Nova in an enclosed space then come out of it and take Thor’s hammer and knock him out with it is damn impressive.
If you have the mini you know Nighthawk used a chip to make him doubt himself and believe he could be hurt, then beat Mark up. Redstone has never exhibited planet busting power like Terrax, he has though destroyed a shopping mall very much like Genghis Khan in Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure, Redstone hurt Mark and the Surfer is greater than Terrax, do the Maths. He is impressive I agree and has some great durability feats, like his impact into the Arctic. The Surfer would also shrug off the Nova, in fact he has shrugged off far worse.

While yes he did this but I’m not seeing Surfer bust out some super designed “I doubt myself” device, so unless Surfer can say “you suck” and him believe it I don’t see that as a factor. As for Redstone he is his for the lack of a better term his double, the first time they meet Hyperion wasn’t nearly at the confidence level he is now and that allowed Red to get the upper hand.
SS wins. Thor is one of my favorite characters the real Thor not Ultimate Thor but he's alright. Ultimate Thor's hammer just seems to hurt him more than the person he hits with it. And yes Hyperion did own him badly I wonder if he's out of the fight or will he returned. Because when Hulk hit him with his hammer in the movie he was out while Captain America was still fighting the strongest Ultimate Avenger was out from one hit with his own hammer crazy.
