I absolutely love K', but NONE in team KOF has anything to harm Sammy. His field can withstand whatever fire K' and Kyo create, as well as Maxima's hand cannons and chest laser. Also I doubt Maxima's cybernetical sensors (a bit Midnighter-ish power) can find any convinient weak spot in it.
Colossus isn't that much of a trouble. Cannonball makes it spite. That's really the case when speed kills.
Though... it isn't too bad. Sammy has to fly to be that awful of a threat... I don't know abut Terry and Kyo in that case, but K's Blackout "teleportation" can help him to get to Sam before he takes off and becomes really unbeatable by any of the team.
But that (speedblitz on the ground) is the only tactic that saves KOF team from shameful loss.
But if that's 616 Colossus then his insides are also orgainc steel, and even top tier HtoH fighters with knowledge of advansed chi techniques will have trouble with him...though there's when Maxima's sensors come into play. If he can detect weak spot in Colossus body, it can be utilised by him and his teammates.
Also... fire hotter than 9000 degrees Celsium will at least harm Colossus (AFAIK) and creating that is within Kyo's or K's powerset.
Roldz, anyways, I just want to hear your explanation of the matchup. For the sake of making it a little better I'd rather put there Kula instead of Terry...she actually can fly, and having one team member airborne can be useful tactic from the point of view of distracting.
Though her ice constructs in NeoSun comics\mangs weren't too uber. Maxima (who's class 30 or something like that) was able to break free from those (though he used his sensors to find weak points in ice shell), but she'll distract Sammy for a while if "KO him before he leaves the ground" tactic fails.
Roldz, I know that you like Terry (probably even more that I like K'), but under given settings he's just useless. I think it would be better to replace him with Kula to make that matchup better.

I actually think this is an even match up w/ Marvel having the edge..
Snk's chars. final/desperate attack could more than likely damaged Peter, unfortunately they could only pull out this move once/twice.. As for Sam, his force field allows him invulnerability but is prone to concussion which SNK's aerial, long range or desperation move if connect can take out sam..

I meant Terry/Kyo/K/Ryo not Maxima..
I prefer Terry over Kula; his attacks are long range, anti-aerial attack, stronger and much more durable..
You needn't have shown me last one. It's already posted in K' respect thread there. Nothing new to me.
And Ryo...what does he add there? More kinetic energy for Cannonball to absorb into his forcefield? If we go by NeoSun versions of characters, then it's really useless change. Maxima lacks in speed, that's is. But his sensors are useful in pinpointing Colossus weak points.
Also do you really believe that anyone in team you created can do anything to Sammy's forcefield? Terry's good, but not THAT good. As well as others...

I think it is better to add Kula in this match up rather than replacing Terry and even then i still give Marvel the majority.
Those feats are quite good dough cept that i think she's not written that way in recent kof issues, they usually make new chars. quite uber in there first appearances then depower them in later issues. The least thats how ive notice reading KOF series, she is quite written inconsistent then and is quite diff. to gauge..
Ryo (Arts of Fighting) is a far better pick than Maxima due to his overall power level.. He is written poorly in KOF series (Neo sun and all) similar to Terry but in there own series they rock and are potrayed a lot better, its all i can tell u as it is far diff. to find scans for this char..
The thing w/ Sammy is temp. has no effect against his blast field as shown when he went up against Sunfire.. He also cannot auto absorb kinetic energy unlike the likes of Sebastian Shaw, Strong guy, Bishop. With enough force applied Sams blast field can be redirected and his brain is prone to concussion even when blasting which in turns deactivate his field..
A more brutal approach would work on sammy as long as its enough force applied to affect the blast field, someone to the likes of Kyo, Ryo, Terry should be within there abilities. Just my 2 cents..
