the whole marvel U is taking some time off from super battles for battle of another kind. FOOTBALL!!!!!!!
here's how it works it's gonna be old school like when we wer all kids and tossed the ol pig skin out in the streets
6 man team
must be a marvel earth character
ofcourse they can use their powers within the boundaries for the game rules (so if you pick flyers they can't fly out of the ref's view and so on )
cant have the same person on multiple teams
this is the drafting stage it will last one week once that is done we'll match your team up against someone else's 1 match per week we all get to vote on the out come top marvel team will face off against the top dc team when the matches are all done
games will be played in a 3mile long by 2 mile wide field

8th day Juggernaut - fullback / runningback. Who's gonna stop him with the ball? Thor - Quarterback (that hammer throwing arm to drop bombs, plus enough strength and endurance to run if necessary). WWH - Center - 'nuff said. Makkari (the Eternal) - receiver - Running at sub-luminal velocities allows him to catch the ball easily. Apocalypse - left tackle - being able to manipulate size / weight will help immensely in blocking as well as tackling. Immortal Hercules - right tackle. Having the strength to tow long island, it's going to be tough stopping him from snagging the ball.
Makkari could most likely keep up with the Flash if he goes full bore. He just will be stuck in hyperspeed for a while afterwards... they can both exceed the speed of light.
