In Last Planet Standing (non-canon) we got to see what would happen if Galactus meant business when he attacked Asgard. [SPOILER - highlight to read]: he won.
how does Odin even approach Galactus?
can't G just destroy him from a couple of light years away?
after all, he transported his World Ship (the size of a solar system) from the other end of the universe... his Cosmic Awareness is universal, I think.
Galactus destroyed a Watcher with a mere blast (Annihilation arc), I'm guessing that'd toast Asgard too, if not, then he could always amp up the power.
Galactus was going to consume the entire universe of marvel 616. It was an alternate timeline of the main 616 universe. It's on-panel, Black Celestial arc. I didn't make it up. He never reached Full Power, fortunately, for if he had, then all of 616 would be gone, causing a major disaster. He had grown so big that he was consuming time and space.
It always perplexes me why physical attributes matter when it comes to big G.
Galactus is a semi-abstract power...F/P big G supercedes most of the abstracts in power. Would you ask if Master Order or Death have any speed feats, and if they can move quickly in battle?
Asking how fast Galactus is or how quickly he can move in battle when he's fighting anyone below abstract level is akin to asking if Magneto can punch a magnet or if he can open a 20 ton composite metal door.
Lol why does he need speed feats? Galactus battling Tyrant made galaxys explode, he can warp whole galaxys, create heralds who can travel half a million lightyears a second, anyway he has a ton of speed feats, i remember him traveling across the universe instantly, and even travelling through dimoensions and time
