why exactly ?

because regular Superman can beat Darkseid

and King Thor would one-shot regular Superman

as for beating Darkseid i guess it all depends if a low skyfather's power is greater than that of a god-slayer who's killed pantheons and has the Destroyer Armor to boot. then again DS power would have to be several times Desak's because Thor owned him most heinously
