Annihilus was planning on creating a new devive that could freeze time at his whim but to get it to work he would need a rare and Magical device that was hidden under the Licoln Memorial in Washington DC. It just so happens that Tony Stark was leaving the White House and flying overhead just when he sees Annihilus. This takes place at the Lincoln Memorial Ironman has his full armor with lasers, force field, emp, and rockets.
