Can Cable take out Superman's arch nemesis?

Round 1.) Lex gets basic knowledge of Cable to prep with.
Round 2.) Lex gets no knowledge but Cable faces him in his battle-suit.
Round 3.) Lex makes Cable his new Superman can he eventually take him out or will Cable continuously beat or kill Lex first?
